Anna Friendt is a wife, mama, and a multi-faceted creative entrepreneur who is passionate about empowering others to share their story creatively. Creating has always been at the very foundation of her being and she has always known she wanted to be an artist when she grew up.

As she grew, she discovered her creativity would grow with her. Just as it is with achieving any goal, there is always hardships, resistance, and obstacles. Hers came in the form of clinical depression and severe anxiety, which stemmed from a traumatic childhood and unstable young adult life; sexual abuse, foster care to adoption, and commercial sexual exploitation – all of which she overcame after Jesus saved her from attempted suicide.

Since her powerful encounter with saving grace, she shares her story of pain to purpose through her creative efforts and speaking. She now shares her work and story at Anna Friendt Artwork & Illustration.

Anna loves bringing the restorative arts to survivors, while also making space for them to create. She is a blessing to those Action169 serves, by the beauty of her art and through her restorative and powerful words found in the Recreated HeART Workshop.
