Corey Freitag, Co-Founder of Action169
Corey Freitag, co-founder of Action169, CEO of Kingdom Builders LLC and husband to survivor leader Danielle Freitag, is an overcomer of addiction and some of the entanglements that fuel exploitation. Living in sober recovery for almost 15 years, with a secure faith foundation, Corey has been requested to provide Biblical teaching in churches and faith conferences throughout the state of Minnesota. He has served in a variety of settings, responding to the call on his life in youth ministry, local and over sea’s missions to be a minister of hope, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. He and his wife reside in Minnesota and together, they serve as the Human Trafficking Focus Leaders in the Minnesota Apostolic Prayer Network.
In 2005, on the way home from a Prayer Meeting, Isaiah 58:10 was highlighted to Corey. At that time, he knew there would be a call on his life to reach out to the oppressed. Three years later, Exodus chapter 12 became his focus. It was also in 2008 that Corey and Danielle met. That year, they attended the OneThing conference, a time when Benjamin Nolot launched Exodus Cry.
In 2009 Corey & Danielle were married and later in 2012 the two attended their first Abolition Summit, a time when both of their hearts were further awakened to the need for modern day abolitionists. Prayers were sown, relationships with brothers and sisters were forged, and Action169 was birthed in 2014.
